September 30, 2016, Superb Purple Clay- Appreciation and Understanding of Purple Clay Art was opened for the public. The exhibition demonstrated the purple clay production process past and present from various aspects including purple clay material, purple clay processing tools and molds, the Yixing glazed pottery shaping process before the maturity of the purple clay shaping process, the literatures on purple clay, famous works by famous artists, and famous pottery.
