展览以光之容器为题，延续2014年「透器透气」玻璃通透的特性，思考玻璃这一物质材料与精神层面之间的关系，促进了玻璃在中国本土的发展。国际当代玻璃艺术展聚焦中国玻璃艺术本体语言的构建，打造国际玻璃艺术的对话交流平台，展现当代玻璃艺术学术探索与研究的最新趋势，展出来自澳大利亚、捷克、美国、英国、中国等地的国内外约30位著名玻璃艺术家、90余件优秀玻璃艺术品。

The exhibition centered the theme of container of light, carried on the “transparency” idea of glass expounded in the exhibition of 2014 and discussed the relation between the material of glass and the spiritual life of people, which promoted the development of glass in China. The international contemporary glass art exhibition focused on structuring the local language of Chinese glass art and building an international glass art communication platform. It showed the latest trend in the academic exploration and research in contemporary glass art and displayed more than 90 pieces of excellent glass artworks by 30 famous glass artists from Australia, Czech, the U.S., the U.K., and China.
