文化部于2015年启动了“中国非物质文化遗产传承人群研修培训计划”试点工作，2015年10月，中国美术学院成为首批试点院校之一。本次研修活动主要面向全国具有较高技艺水平的传统手工艺传承人或资深从业者，内容涉及雕刻、制砚、泥塑、剪纸、陶瓷、印刷等工艺美术方向。2016年6月1日，“素雕巧刻 火的洗礼 —— 非物质文化遗产传承人培训班结业展”在民艺博物馆内展出。

The Ministry of Culture launched the pilot Training Program for Inheritors of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritages in 2015. China Academy of Art was one of the first pilot schools in October 2015. The training was mainly for highly-skilled traditional handicraft inheritors or senior practitioners around China. The contents involved industrial arts including carving, ink stone production, clay sculpture, paper cutting, ceramics, printing and etc. Sculpting and Sintering- Graduation Exhibition of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Training Class of the Ministry of Culture kicked off in the Crafts Museum of China Academy of Art on June 1, 2016.
